Biography
Dr. Md. Humayun Rashid completed MBBS under Dhaka University. He obtained his "Masters in Surgery" degree (MS in Neurosurgery) from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University after completing his required postgraduate training. He has operated on more than 100 brain tumours, spine tumours, and strokes. Additionally, he frequently performs a variety of spinal procedures in this institution, including fixations for spondylolisthesis prolapsed discs, and others.
He obtained his fellowship in skull base surgery from the World Skull Base Foundation under M.S. Rajaah University of Applied Science, Bengaluru, India. Apart from this, he has been trained in endoscopic neurosurgery by the International Federation of Neuro Endoscopy (IFNE) in Hyderabad, India. He was trained in vascular neurosurgery at Dhaka Medical College Hospital and the Sheikh Hasina Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery, arranged by the Bangladesh Society of Neurosurgeons.
